OUR MISSION IS TO CONNECT COMMUNITIES THROUGH SERVICE
WHO ARE WE?
CONNECT is a Youthlinc program that specializes in organizing and group service projects.
Utah high school clubs and organizations often engage in service projects to bring their group together in uplifting ways that also supports the community.
Any club advisor or student leader knows that is easier said than done.
That is where Youthlinc’s new local service program, Youthlinc CONNECT, comes in. CONNECT organizes local service projects for high school clubs and groups.
OUR HISTORY
Utah CONNECT was officially established in 2021. We saw a need in the community for group service projects. Many people wanted to help as a result of the pandemic, and we knew we had the resources to help others accomplish their goals.
Youthlinc, our parent organization, has been an established since 1999. Youthlinc’s mission is to create lifetime humanitarians. Throughout their years of operation, Youthlinc has grown to include over 250 partner organizations through the Local Service Directory. Youthlinc’s other programs often put together group projects, so when we saw this need in the community, we decided to make it official and launch the CONNECT program.
VISION & VALUES
CONNECT is named for the core concepts we develop among youth through local service: connecting Community, creating Opportunity, Necessary action, being Nimble and adaptable, cultivating Empathy, Collaborating as partners, and Transforming into lifetime humanitarians. Youthlinc’s mission is to create lifetime humanitarians.
